Inclusion & diversity

Everyone should have access to the health & wellbeing benefits and learning and development opportunities the outdoors offers. Sadly it is often the most vulnerable or disadvantaged groups that have the least access.

This section offers articles, reports and research into inclusivity and diversity outdoors and shares information on some of the inspirational organisations addressing these issues.

We are keen to expand our knowledge base and the information we share - please send links & recommendations to share@muddyfaces.co.uk

Health & wellbeing

The heartiest section of our Outdoor Hub - with research & reports, videos, guides and articles on the benefits to wellbeing of spending time outside; plus focused sections on mental health, nature connection and practicalities of health, hygiene and comfort while you're outside.

With an introduction from Coralie Hopwood of the John Muir Trust (at time of writing).
