Our Story
Founded in 2007, Muddy Faces was created with a simple but powerful vision: to make outdoor play, learning and connection with nature accessible to everyone. What started as a small online supplier of quality outdoor resources has grown into a trusted, purpose-driven organisation supporting schools, Forest School leaders, Early Years settings, community groups and families across the UK and beyond.
Drawing on decades of experience in outdoor education, we've built our business around the needs of practitioners, providing carefully selected resources, practical solutions and expert guidance to help children and young people learn, play and thrive outdoors. Over the years, we've become a valued part of the outdoor learning community, supporting those who share our belief in the transformative power of nature-based experiences.
Alongside our products, we're proud to provide the Muddy Faces Outdoor Hub, a comprehensive online library filled with free resources, activities, articles and inspiration for educators, practitioners and parents. By sharing practical knowledge and ideas freely, we help make high-quality outdoor learning more accessible and achievable for everyone.
