All our natural wood products are handmade in the Muddy Faces workshop from timber sourced from sustainably managed UK woodlands. Choosing UK-grown wood supports local woodland management, wildlife habitats and traditional rural crafts.
Every piece is unique, retaining the natural character of the tree it came from, with variations in shape, colour, grain, knots, growth rings, bark and natural cracks that can occur as wood responds to its environment. These natural features are part of what makes each product distinctive and authentic.
