July, August and early September bring a mix of events, awareness days and seasonal moments to work with – offering plenty of opportunities to plan ahead and make the most of time outdoors this summer.
From citizen science activities to growing, exploring and spending time in outdoor spaces, these events support hands‑on, real‑world learning that help children notice, connect and take part in the natural world – whether through holiday clubs, play schemes or simply getting outside with their family.
