International Moon Day marks the anniversary of the first landing by humans on the Moon as part of the Apollo 11 lunar mission in 1969.

Wherever we go in the world, the moon comes with us. Isn't it lovely when the moon is out when the sky is blue?

How will you celebrate the moon through outdoor play and learning?

Check out our Pebble alien landing - Activity for one idea.

International Moon Day is a United Nations observance. More info: International Moon Day
