Happy 25th Anniversary!
UK Forest School is 25 years old this year and that is definitely something worth celebrating!
To mark the occasion, what better way than to establish an inclusive, annual Forest School Day, created by and for the forest school community? The Forest School Day project has been created to encourage the Forest School Community to connect, share and celebrate this milestone together and of course to celebrate it in a Forest School values way!
Liz (founder and Muddy Faces Forest School expert) will be at the 2018 National Forest School Festival - Belong in this Place in Norfolk this weekend with a range of fire lighting kits for festival goers to have a play with, including a traditional flint and steel, bow drill, fire piston and our Dragons Sneeze.
There are also a couple of places left for the Forest School Association Gathering on the 19th-21st October, for more information visit the Forest School Association South West facebook page where there is a booking form.
Forest School is the reason Muddy Faces exists. We think it is an incredible tool for wellbeing, development and learning.
Find out the history & key organisations, read the evidence, understand the ethos and training, find out what others say in articles and videos, and most importantly - get involved!
