Mora 840 MG Clipper Knife (Carbon)
This carbon sheath knife is ideal for more experienced Forest School leaders. Carbon knives require more maintenance than a stainless-steel knife as the metal can oxidise and tarnish. Carbon knives are more popular with experienced knife users as the edge can be worked to be sharper than that of stainless steel.
The knife (Morakniv Clipper 840MG) has a high carbon steel half tang blade with a moulded handle and grip; handle material: black rubber/Military green plastic. The sheath has a clip.
A robust and reliable knife. The carbon steel blade, may over time, turn a grey colour. This does not impinge on the effectiveness of the knife. This is a natural process that protects the knife from corrosion.
