Mud, mud, glorious mud!
We're delighted to be featured in the October 2024 issue of Country Living magazine.
In an article which describes the benefits of mud to children, adults, flora and fauna, Liz Edwards, director of Muddy Faces, talks about the joy of mud play. She says,
‘There’s a whole mixture of physical feelings involved ... It feels fantastic. You can squidge it through your fingers, you can run through it and you can swirl it round ...
‘It’s because you’re outdoors. You’re freer to make a mess; you’re freer to get dirty, crawl, touch. It’s very natural for us to put our hands and feet back in the earth.’
Liz goes on to mention our Mud Campaign and Making a Mud Kitchen book.
