FSC Forest Week
21–27 September 2026
FSC Forest Week is a global campaign that highlights the importance of responsible forest management and the vital role forests play in supporting biodiversity, tackling climate change and providing sustainable natural resources.
Organised by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), the campaign encourages organisations, communities and individuals to take positive action and "Do one thing for forests".
Forests provide habitats for wildlife, help regulate the climate, protect soils and water, and supply renewable materials that we use every day. FSC Forest Week is an opportunity to learn more about where wood and forest products come from and how responsible forestry can help protect forests for future generations.
At Muddy Faces, we believe in using natural materials responsibly. Our UK-grown wood range supports local forestry, reduces transport miles and helps connect children with sustainably sourced natural materials. FSC Forest Week provides a timely opportunity to think about the journey from forest to product and the choices we can make to support healthy, thriving forests.
2026 theme: Do one thing for forests
This year's theme encourages everyone to take a small action in support of forests. Whether it's choosing FSC-certified products, learning more about sustainable forestry, spending time in woodlands or sharing information with others, small actions can collectively make a difference.
