Step #1 Set up the activity
Get a basket/box of pinecones and wool ready.
Pre-cut the wool for ease or include the wool cutting as part of the activity.
Step #2 decorate your pine cone
Wrap the wool around the pinecone!
Perhaps you could go in and out of the prongs/layers, like a tiny Christmas tree?
Step #3 Ta dah!

Take it further
- Stick your decorated pinecones to a wooden disc to make a table decoration
- String them up as festive bunting
