The shed comes fully assembled and contains all the sustainable loose parts set resources. It will be delivered on a pallet to the kerbside. The shed will need to be positioned on a flat, stable base. See further details below.
The all-wood sustainable loose parts set provides a variety of adaptable pieces of open play equipment to design and build constructions outdoors. It comes with lots of stands to help build vertically, logs and planks of various lengths to create mazes and swamp crossings, and Giant Nature blocks for construction and tower building. This set also includes lengths of rope, wooden carriers and pulleys to set up and explore forces in an experiential situation.
The set is made from wood supporting a more sustainable approach to education resources.

Additional Information
The shed is handmade in the UK with an airflow design to help moisture escape, reducing the likelihood of damp and mould. Made from FSC treated wood, the shed is robust with attractive wooden overlap sides and roof. The slatted doors have attractive black fixings - heavy duty hinges, a hasp and staple suitable for a padlock (padlock not included) and two cabin hooks to secure the doors in an open position. The shed has 4 shelves to store the crates and smaller loose parts and a vertical compartment which neatly holds long items such as poles and planks. There are 3 adjustable barriers to stop the long items falling forwards and splaying out, which can be hung on the door when not in use. The shed is supplied with an attractive lasered wooden loose parts sign.
We recommend that your shed is positioned on a stable base (ideally concrete or paved). The base must be level and of sufficient size (minimum 1.2m wide x 1m deep).
You will be responsible for moving the shed from the delivery point at kerbside to your required position.
Please note:
- Adult supervision required - ropes
- This is a large set and some of these items may be unavailable due seasonality of wood or general supply. If this is the case, a similar item will be used as a replacement.
- The set is plastic free with exception of Hempex rope. Hempex rope is a synthetic material which has been chosen for its longevity in an outdoor setting, soft feel and strength.

All our treated wood has been approved for use in playgrounds and is acceptable for human health and the environment. It is really important to check what wood treatment your supplier uses when choosing educational resources.
