These log rounds are 10cm high and made from UK wood.
The logs are suitable for the outdoors and can be used for a variety of applications - from acting as seats and stands in your outdoor space to being used as practice boards for drilling and hammering.
A set of 10 log rounds can be purchased here for use as a stepping course.
This product WILL crack and change, it is made from untreated wood. This is a natural process which does not affect the use of the product and can encourage a child's investigation of the natural world.

Wood contains a natural preservative called tannin which aids its longevity. Tannin is soluble and can leach out of wood when it gets wet. Once the water evaporates, it can leave tannin sediment behind, causing staining. We recommend that you do not store your wood on a porous surface as it may cause discolouration.

We are passionate about UK grown wood supporting the future of our woodlands and providing natural alternatives to plastic play and learning resources. Natural wood is a fascinating material unlike a sterile plastic item. Wood changes, its bark comes away, there will be knots and cracks which will expand and contract as the wood changes over time. Further cracks will open up, particularly if left in direct sunlight or during a period of warm, dry weather. This all is amazing and it stimulates questions and helps connect us to the natural world.
