2026 theme: Maths Matters

The theme Maths Matters highlights the many ways maths is part of everyday life, learning, work and play. The programme encourages people of all ages to explore maths through practical, creative and real-world experiences.

Resources, grants and activities

Education Scotland has published a range of free resources, events, competitions and webinars to support participation in Maths Week Scotland. A Small Grants Fund is also available to help schools, early years settings, community groups and organisations take part or develop their own activities. Find out more at: https://mathsweek.scot/
