This set of heavy duty benches are ideal for early years and primary aged children to sit on due to the differing heights. They are versatile as they can be moved around in different formations and shapes.
The benches are made from UK grown Larch which has planed radius edges and a smooth surface.
Bench seat: 20cm wide/10cm thick
Base: 39cm wide
PLEASE NOTE: These benches are heavy and require two people to lift them. The benches must also be level to the ground and to be tested for stability prior to use.

Wood contains a natural preservative called tannin which aids its longevity. Tannin is soluble and can leach out of wood when it gets wet. Once the water evaporates, it can leave tannin sediment behind, causing staining. We recommend that you do not store your wood on a porous surface as it may cause discolouration.

Natural wood is a fascinating material unlike a sterile plastic item. Wood changes, its bark comes away, there will be knots and cracks which will expand and contract as the wood changes over time. Further cracks will open up, particularly if left in direct sunlight or during a period of warm, dry weather. This is all amazing and it stimulates questions and helps connect us to the natural world.
The product has not been treated with a preservative although wood contains a natural preservative called tannin, which aids its longevity. It is also important to note that as this is a natural product – we do our best to grade out any unsuitable material, however you may still find knots, twists, cracks, splinters and resin/sap.
