RSPB Big Wild Sleep Out
Nature’s more fun when the sun goes down.
Think you know your wild nocturnal neighbours? Put up a tent and take part in #BigWildSleepout to discover the wildlife you share your garden with every night!
Last weekend of July - or any time you like!
Why sleep out?
Have fun, save nature
Sleeping outside is fun. Who doesn’t love an excuse to stay up late and have marshmallows for dinner? (As part of a balanced diet of course!)
Big Wild Sleepout is a chance to do something different, as a family, and get closer to nature at the same time. Better still, you don't actually need to go anywhere – you can even sleep in your back garden!
You can do a Big Wild Sleepout with the RSPB at one of their special events - or at home anytime. Joining a Big Wild Sleepout event is a great way to discover camping and have fun-filled night with nature.
"But there’s a serious message too. Nature is in trouble: In the last 25 years, for example, almost half of our hedgehogs have disappeared. We believe that, if the next generation feel connected to nature, they’ll be more inspired to help fight for its future."
