Event Details

A LEAF Education initiative, Farming Fortnight will see hundreds of schools take part in a two-week spotlight on farming and food production.

During Farming Fortnight, you can positively engage young people in discussions and activities that focus on British farming and food production.

Learn about the importance of: biodiversity, soil, water, animal husbandry and more through 10 activity resources from 2nd-13th June 2025, and find a local farm to visit to explore farming with nature first hand on 8th June 2025 on Open Farm Sunday!

Each day of Farming Fortnight has a different theme, with a memorable social media hashtag to encourage schools and students to share their learning experiences.

Resources

Use the resources to spark critical thinking, thought provoking discussions, and develop an understanding and appreciation of the topics and practices that farmers have to consider and implement in order to produce food, nurture nature, and protecting the environment for future generations.
