Earthwalks foster feelings of joy, kinship, reverence and love for the natural world. Join us for the day & Jon Cree (FSA Founding Chair, Ecological Trainer and Author) will teach you how to hold your own. The day will include an introduction to Earth Education and where Earthwalks ‘fit’ into our programmes. You will learn to plan and review your own Earthwalk, fully immerse yourself by experiencing two different Earthwalks and gain in-depth analysis of the leadership, mechanics, and flow of an Earthwalk. You will leave with the toolbox and confidence to lead your own. Earth education is the process of helping people of all ages live more harmoniously and joyously with the natural world. It is internationally renowned for its education programmes that have been developed over the last 40+ years. These involve ‘hands-on magical learning adventures’ to create concrete understandings of the ecological processes of the planet, deepen feelings for the planet and its life, and learning to live ‘more lightly’ on the earth. www.earthed.org.uk |
