Our 8-day Level 3 Forest School Leader course, is designed for those who wish to lead and deliver Forest School programmes with confidence and expertise.
This comprehensive training combines:
- Portfolio-based assessment
- Practical skills assessment days
- Work-based observations
- Peer assessment
The full qualification is typically completed within 9–12 months, giving you time to embed your learning in practice. You will need access to a potential site where you can plan and run your Forest School sessions.

- Planning and Preparation for Forest School programmes.
- The Woodland Environment
- Forest School Programme Delivery
- Forest School Practical Skills
Entry Requirements
To join this course, you must:
- Be 19 years or over
- Hold a Level 2 qualification (or GCSE equivalent) in a relevant field, e.g teaching, childcare, etc.
- Have 2 years of experience working with your intended client group
- Identify a potential site for your Forest School delivery

- Training days: 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17 March
