Apple day celebrates everything to do with orchards, from fruit variety identification to apple and cider tasting, and bring-your-own juicing services.

The first Apple Day was held on October 21 in 1990, by Common Ground, amazed at the 3,000 or so varieties of apples that are grown in the UK, and dismayed by the loss of so many traditional orchards. For more on the history of Apple Day, click here.
