Muddy Faces founder & director Liz Edwards has been involved in Forest School since 2000.
She became a Forest School practitioner in 2001, and went on to set up one of the first Forest School training companies. In 2007 she launched Muddy Faces, to support Forest School leaders and outdoor practitioners to source resources and helpful information.


Liz Edwards
Liz Edwards is the founder and director of Muddy Faces. She is a passionate advocate of the outdoors as a medium to support, encourage and nurture, play, learning and health.
Being dyslexic, Liz has always migrated to working outdoors and, as many dyslexic people do, ended up running her own business.
