Wild Beach Leader Training Level 3 Award (HAMPSHIRE)
The Wild Beach Leader Level 3 training course will enable you to deliver a Wild Beach Programme for any age group.
Four days of experiential learning in the marine environment including taking the Forest School ethos to the beach, risk benefit analysis, marine wildlife identification, understanding tides, shelter, games and activities.
This is a LASER Level 3 Award for Wild Beach Leaders (RQF), developed by Sussex Wildlife Trust with OCN West Midlands.
There are 4 mandatory Training Days (9.30 to 4.30pm):
Tuesday 3rd & Wednesday 4th August 2021 at Lee on Solent Beach, Tuesday 17th & Wednesday 18th August 2021 at Hurst Spit, Milford on Sea.
A coursework portfolio which should be completed within 6 months of the start of the course.
Wild Beach is an inspirational process that offers children, young people and adults of all abilities regular opportunities to gain confidence and raise self-worth through a series of hands-on learning experiences in the marine environment.
Comprising an exciting combination of practical outdoor skills, play and curriculum linked activities, our Wild Beach Level 3 training is taught with the ethos behind the Forest School approach to child led learning.
The Wild Beach Level 3 course is run on Forest School principles and will prepare you to become a Wild Beach Leader. The Level 3 course will enable you to confidently deliver, plan and monitor all aspects of a Wild Beach programme. All our Wild Beach courses are delivered on our beautiful coasts in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight by our qualified, professional staff.
