Forest School Training Level 2 (HAMPSHIRE)
Forest School Level 2 training course will enable you to assist at a Forest School Programme for any age group.
This LASER Level 2 Award for Forest School Assistants (RQF) is a nationally recognised training course.
4 Training days: 21st, 22nd, 28th and 29th September 2021 (9.30 to 4.30pm)
To achieve the Level 2 award you will need to complete all of the following:
Four days of training in theory and practice to cover:
- Learning and development at a Forest School programme
- Practical skills for a Forest School programme
*You will also need to assist with the planning, delivery and evaluation of 3 consecutive Forest School sessions run by a Level 3 Qualified Forest School Leader.
* A coursework portfolio which should be completed within 6 months of the start of the course.
All our Forest School Level 2 trainees on this course will be eligible for 12 months discounted membership of the Forest School Association, the professional body for Forest School practitioners.

Comprising an exciting combination of practical outdoor skills and child development theory our Forest School Level 2training is taught with the ethos behind the Forest School approach to child led learning.
The Forest School Level 2 course is run on Forest School principles and will prepare you to become a Forest School Assistant. The Level 2 course will enable you to support an existing Forest School including assisting delivering, planning and monitoring all aspects of a Forest School programme. All our Forest School courses are delivered on our beautiful woodland reserves in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight by our qualified, professional staff.
This course will take place at Swanwick Lakes Nature Reserve situated between Southampton and Fareham in Hampshire.
